Looking for a fun, friendly dance class for your child?
Come and join Abbotts Dance Academy this September and enjoy a FREE taster session at one of our classes in Clover Hill, Queens Hill or Wymondham.
Classes are available for children from age 2yrs and onwards, with different age groups and abilities catered for.
No previous dance experience is needed — complete beginners are very welcome.
Children joining us this term will also have the exciting opportunity to become part of our end-of-year stage performance:
A fun celebration of Michael Jackson’s most iconic music, brought to life on stage with a special Christmas storyline twist.
Throughout the term, children will continue attending their normal weekly classes while learning routines that build towards the performance.
Our students also have the opportunity to learn and develop some of Michael Jackson’s most iconic dance moves, including the Moonwalk, spins, Robot, signature poses and performance techniques, before bringing them together in routines to some of his biggest hits.
Music will include Michael Jackson favourites such as:

It’s a fantastic opportunity for children to experience performing on stage, build confidence, learn new routines and be part of something special to finish the year.
Fun, energetic routines using current and commercial dance styles while developing confidence, musicality and performance skills.
Develop flexibility, strength, balance and acrobatic skills including rolls, handstands, cartwheels and more, taught progressively according to ability.
Build technique, posture, balance, coordination and confidence through enjoyable ballet classes.
Energetic routines combining modern, jazz and commercial dance styles with a strong focus on performance.
